In honour of Valentine’s Day, Belarusian vehicle manufacturer BelAZ decided to bring some tenderness to their usually cold and constructive hardware in Zhodzina, Sunday, offering couples loved-up dump-truck rides in their Belaz 75710, the world’s biggest truck. Belarusian manufacturer BelAZ is now offering rides to the public for €22 ($25) a go on the dump truck. The vehicle, which weighs in at 25 tons, can reach speeds of up to 80 kph (49mph) and is usually used for transporting rocks for mining. However, for Valentine’s Day, the gargantuan machines dropped their usual loads for a sweeter cargo. SOT, Evgenii Dikovski, visitor (Russian): "We just saw it in the Internet. I wanted something unusual and something new. And we always wanted to ride the big trucks. Especially on a day like this." SOT, Stanislav Yakubovich, deputy and CEO of the Belarusian truck manufacturer BelAZ (Russian): "We are doing it for the first time. We decided to do it as an experiment, and to see how successful it would be. The practice showed that there are more people interested than our capability can satisfy today. And it costs about 22 euros ($25)."
