In this video Barth Hollanddrain is performing the commissioning of an EGS 3000 trencher for a Dutch customer at Oud-Beijerland, the Netherlands. Produced in Barth Hollanddrain´s factory in 's-Gravendeel, this successful launch shows our first trencher with a Scania DC9 - Stage IIIB - Tier 4 engine with 232 kW/315 HP and AdBlue system. The machine is fully hydraulic and can dig up to a depth of 2,4 m. Maximum engine revolutions are limited to 1600 rpm for an incredible reduced engine noise and fuel consumption, while maintaining the same driving speed as with a higher rpm. The Barth Hollanddrain EGS 3000 is mainly used for agricultural drainage and pipe/cable laying operations.
