This is an early example of a Bagshaw OA 4HP open crank stationary engine. These engines were built by J.S.Bagshaw and Sons, Later Horwood Bagshaw Ltd. of Adelaide from 1905 to the mid 1930s. They are assumed to be a close copy of the American Olin engine introduced in the late 1890s. Water-cooled with hit and miss governing. This engine, No.125 is an early example dating from around 1906. Non-original carburetter (T Ford) and magneto but hope to fix this shortly.
