i have had my middle finger tendon slightly bent to left and it swells up sometimes and hurts when punching i have this for 5 months is a splint still an option ?

When you say "3-6 rounds tops" on the the heavy bag, what do you consider a "round" in this context? A fight round?

very informative video man..awesome!... got a question though,..would u recommend training with open hand palm strikes instead of punches (if youre just training for street self defense only)? that way, you dont have to worry about wrist injuries.. and also, is it true that vertical fist also prevents wrist injury?

I really want to box and have a trainer but my parents are working class people .
I love your videos and I only have a punching bag to practice on I really want to get serious with boxing but I feel like the money is stopping me from it . I want to show a real boxer what I'm capable of or if all this time im doing it wrong(hooks,uppercut,jabs,footwork etc) do you know any trainers or a cheap gym ? Around Downtown Los Angeles ? -

Is there any first aid I could use to treat my wrist injury? Whenever I move my wrist sideways. I feel pain on both sides especially whenever i throw right hook and upper cut. I'm a beginner and I fear l'm not gonna be able to train anymore, its been two weeks now...

I don't agree with what he says about you shouldn't be hitting the heavy bag for an hour. You should always do more than 6 rounds on the bag. YOU gotta condition your body and cardio. Shit I do a hour in a half to 2 hours hitting the bag. It keeps my body in shape and healthy.
