You will be at the forefront of new vehicle technologies including Flex Ray, fibre optics, data bus and CAN bus. Work will be across a broad range of products including, but not limited to, electronics, microprocessors, electro-mechanical systems and motors. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Must understand automotive electronic systems, including steering, stability control, climate control, engine management and body control systems. · Understanding of how each component within these systems work · Good understanding of CAN · Skills to investigate and reverse engineer electronic modules · Embedded programming skills · Ability to design test equipment · Source and negotiate prices for obsolete components · Document and communicate your investigations · Roll out repair processes with full support to a workshop · Experience in Assembler and C programming The ideal candidate should understand that: The timeframes are tight.
