I am having an issue and was wondering if it possibly could be the combo valve. 88 Firebird GTA, new rear calipers and pads, new booster, front hoses, master cylinder, and flush from bleeding out the system, have great pedal with engine off, as soon as you start the car the pedal goes to the floor and the red brake light comes on, shut it off and pump the brakes the light goes back off and has a good pedal again. Any ideas? Thanks

hey, quick question - my son and I converted his third gen camaro brakes from disc/drums to disc/disc from a 4th gen camaro. Should we get a disc/disc prop valve from a 3rd gen or can we just change out the spring in the prop valve to a stiffer spring? I can't seem to find any info on the internal differences between a disc/drum versus a disc/disc prop valve other than the valve assembly and spring are slightly different dimensions. thanks in advance for your help and keep those videos coming.

Awesome explanation. I have a 2006 Tahoe with not enough power going to the rear brakes. When I bleed them fluid comes out fine but they're not giving much braking power. In fact rotors are even starting to develop rust spots all over them bc pads are barely squeezing against them. Also, front calipers and rims get pretty hot. U think it could be this combination valve or that my two front brake hoses are kinked? I've replaced all 4 calipers, rotors, booster and master cylinder. Thanks man.

I just did a complete brake job on my '82 Chevy C10, from wheel cylinders and shoes in the back to rotors, pads, calipers in the front along with all new rubber hoses. I did the rear brakes first no problem bleeding them and had a good pedal. Once I did the front, I'm pushing only fluid when I bleed but I can't get a firm pedal. Think the prop valve is stuck? I'm at a loss. Thanks, great video!

I have a combination valve on my 91 GMC truck, master cylinder has been leaking for a while, I was pouring the water into the master cylinder to compensate for brake fluid got my master cylinder fixed today, but my front brakes are not letting go of the discs, do you think it's possible my combination of health is rusted inside, or gone bad?

Hi there, really good video, I have changed from drum to disc on my 99 XJ jeep Cherokee and now the front discs are dragging a lot more, could this be to do with the prop valve residue pressure keeping the front brakes on? I'm in Australia and can't seem to get an answer from anyone ... It's a jeep and I've changed the rear to discs... Any Help would be Really Appreciated.. Thank you
