Machines | ASV Posi-Track Loader 80HP CTL Shooutout
videos | at work | information | view | construction
See the SR-80 put through its paces against other 80 HP compact track loaders! Like all ASV Posi-Track loaders, the SR-80 features a unique torsion axle suspension system that allows it to generate much more traction than other compact track loaders. The SR-80 goes a step further, incorporating a floating bogey system that allows the track to conform to the ground over uneven terrain, maximizing ground contact area and tractive effort. The SR-80 was superceded by the PT-80, which as you can see, is the smoothest running, most comfortable operating machines on the market. ASV... Works where the others can't!

I don't care about a smooth ride I want power and speed
-
2:37 useless operator getting towed out. use the bucket
-
The case and others couldn't go up the hill because they weight almost 2 tones more
-
so what about cat and the JCB/volvo also why not test bucket push instead of pull? that NH and JD were hooked up so far behind the track they they just stood right up, but everyone knows a deere and tac can push like crazy i hate these videos, i wish they would be done by magazines and not the companies
-
there where the two that kick Posi-Track ass so they saved the embarrassment
-
any kind of operator would have never gotten stuck and when the takeuchi was climing the hill he swung back and forth to get stuck i run a tl150 tak and i can push sand up a pile and tilt over the other side before i realize how far up i am same thing goes for the kubota svl90-2 i ran those thing can push as long as you know how to do it
-
asvis bull shit
-
they make the video to where the avs will be on top no matter what
-
so whitch one will load a truck better not that asv
-
And I try to avoid driving over any thing so I do not kick the track off the machine. But if I need to drive over a stump I would shear the stump off lower to the ground so I have plenty of clearance.

Talking about "fancy advertising" from other companies.. I was confused on what this video was advertising.. mini-track loader or car. It looked like a mini-track loaded but all it talked about was how smooth of a ride this machine is. If all your concerned about is a smooth ride, you left that in the parking lot outside the job site. With one of these machines it makes a lot more sense to put more weight in the rear because the weight of the machine will be more balanced once you pick up a load.

why dont they try using the track from any of the other machines and put it on the asv. see how well it does then. to make they're argument more valid in my opinion would require all machines to use the same type track tread pattern
-
wheres the Cat, and kubota
-
asv sucks
-
listen im a bobc at guy but i would easaly pick cat over them
-
Go Cat or Go home.

JUNK!! I don't care how smooth they ride. IF you have ever worked on one, you will hate them. Try getting parts, try getting dealer support, try working on them, not just the under carriage, the entire machine. Ive been inside and out of these machines. I HATE THEM. the only good thing is they have excellent air conditioning. but they mount the AC compressor in a spot that isn't serviceable, unless you basically pull the the motor. A guy would go broke if he relied on them to get work done.
-
How come you did not test it against the Caterpillar Machine overall good video good post thank you
-
I notice you never compare the Takeuchi TL150 / TL250 / TL12 size machine with the grouser type rubber track, we know from experience with both undercarriages that the Takeuchi with the grouser type rubber track beats the pants off the ASV when climbing.
who wants to fund an independent test?
