The Junee Correctional Centre is a medium/minimum security institution for males located 450km south-west of Sydney and 40km from Wagga Wagga. On arriving at the Junee Correctional Center the Colour In Your Life Team were greeted by the wonderful staff of the Centre who have helped make the initial project possible. Much preparation had gone into actually making this happen and an enormous amount of community spirit and organization to create such an event. The Junee Correctional Center has an education partnership with TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, which allows training programs to be delivered by qualified and industry experienced teaching staff. Courses offered include commercial cooking, hospitality services, small business management, literacy and numeracy, computer studies, distance education programs, Aboriginal culture, automotive studies, basic engineering, rural studies and visual arts. Graeme and the team were greeted by 25 inmates in the Gymnasium, which also has a section used for visual arts. Over the course of the day the Colour In Your Life team conducted a series of different art workshops, teaching the inmates different painting techniques that they would be able to practice and utilize in their daily life. There really was a sense of joy in the room when the guys were painting, as some of the inmates had not even picked up a paintbrush before. Come on board with the 'Pozible Project'. Many thanks to all the sponsors and people involved for making this possible, GEO Group Australia, Frederiks Accountants, 4ME, Chroma and CreateArt, Art Shed Brisbane, Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory, Mazuma Productions, OneWeekJob and the Junee Community. Hey Graeme loved this video . What A difference you or would have made sold those men I could only imagine the difficulty it would've been to get the permit sticker the prison I couldn't help but remember when I was in a psychiatric facility it was such a dock. In my life they wouldn't let me out supplies but I managed they end up taking my what a watercolor palette and I was left with nothing but my thoughts help me fill the void but I was lucky my parents artist. I just focused on being creative before I knew it I didn't need any medication maybe there's an avenue for you to make a positive influence on others in the same position that I once was

I watch your show repeatedly on youtube and have joined the colour in your life website. Im so thankful for your show and my art has really developed thanks to the tips, techniques and inspiration i have gained from watching. I have even started journalling every episode! I was diagnosed with narcolepsy (sleep disorder where I can't control my sleep) a few years ago and due to this condition, depression as well. My doctor told me to start painting again and it changed my life. It was the only thing that i didn't fall asleep while doing (haha its true, i even fell asleep crossing a road a couple times). But since watching your show and working on my art, stabilising my narcolepsy with medication and the birth of my son, my life has completely turned around. I now fully understand your passion to give back Graeme and what you are doing is changing so many lives....you probably in part saved mine. And now i have been asked to be part of a group exhibition at a local gallery! I just wanted to share with you my story and to say thank you, and to urge others to pick up a brush, pencil, pastel...anything...it really can change your life!
