Amaizing is also the replacement price of one of this. No part's available for repairs. What a surprise when a visit the local Nissan dealer. They do not sale transmission parts also the independent part's dealers and local auto parts. Waoooo.

a manual CVT trans would be perfect for practicing using the clutch from a stop to a take off. shifting is easy, people need help with not stalling out.

I've been trying to tell people that CVT is the way to go in a boring car. I don't like CVT auto or dsg, but CVT is the logical choice. they seem to be moving towards a constant rpm. my wife's Subaru barely feels like a "geared" car

Don't forget reliability and the cost of rebuilding if you're a person that keeps a car for a while.

definitely CVT way better auto gear than crappy DSG or any dual clutch transmission

it all comes down to what the consumer wants, if you like to shift you own gears fully(not the girly paddles) with 3 pedals on the floor then you should get a manual, if you want the best mpg out of your vehicle then cvt is the way to go and if you want the quickest shift without a 3rd pedal then a dual clutch transmission is the way to go. All in all ppl fell to realize its how you drive that mostly determines your gas mileage.

Not a Honda fan..but they did good putting a torque convertor on their cvt.

cvt can give optimum result on electric motor ?

And prooving to be extremely unreliable , might be ok for city cars . You can get the same result using automated manuals .

I can't stand CVT .manual is better than both automatic and CVT. you got more control over the gears. And get better mpgs too.
