Review of the new Arctic Cat Diesel 700 Quad bike. 2014. This is a farm and agricultural quad bike that every farmer, forester, homesteader or wilderness adventurer should have. Made in USA - Not assembled from parts from China and Mexico. This is tough US made machinery. Please ask me about details for the Canvas Seat cover. All questions are welcome so please ask. One thing I forget to mention in the video is that the diesel engine is low revving and coupled with the excellent CVT transmission the bike will be going faster than you think. It's quite quiet and you think you are going slow but you are in fact going quite quickly. It's a very stealthy quiet machine. These diesel quad bikes work in minus 30c upto 50c above with no problem. From deserts to ice and snow. They just keep working and they run on 6 different types of diesel fuel, from Jet A-1 to Bio-Diesel. It will run on more fuel types than an Abrams Tank. If you're a farmer or forest worker then you need a real machine. This is the machine for Australian farms. It's great on Norwegian farms too. Arctic Cat Diesel is the answer. Visit Arctic Cat Australia for your nearest dealer. Visit Toowoomba Bikes and Bits in Queensland for a special price. www.toowoombabikesandbits.com.au The bike has 11" of clearance. The wheel articulation is very compliant and there's plenty of traction offroad. Offroad in low range it is unstoppable with a load in rough terrain. Show me a better quad bike for a farm !!!!!! This is the one ! All I need now is for a Stihl 660 Diesel Chain saw and I'll be set. www.arcticcat.com Arctic Cat Australia Toowoomba Bikes and Bits All the benefits of diesel and fuel commonality. Perfect solution NB : Side by Side quads are far more dangerous. If you want to sit close to your "buddy", then take up golf. Role bars kill people every day. Quads are safe. 1 quad, 1 rider = Safe. And don't you just love how the "Sexy green" just blends in to the environment ? It's a very relaxing colour. Also, government departments should start using these, especially in forestry management.

Hi. Thanks for the review. I wonder what you think about your AC Diesel ATV now. Has it been reliable? I am considering getting one. Thanks again, mate.

I have one of these. The fuel economy is amazing as well. I love my machine. It runs the Rocky Mountains here in Colorado with no problem, altitudes up to 12,000 feet.

Great video. I own an artic cat 700 but not diesel. More powerful but crazy hungry for gas... Anyway i love my artic cat, i manage some forest in france and it is a great tool. Do you have power steering?it is cool for maneuver...
And also congrats for your awesome watch! -
Except it is the most heavy Atv in history.

That's a great video, Ade! I have a 2001 Arctic Cat 500 gas with manual transmission=5 speeds hi 5 speeds lo. I have around 5,500 miles and have the dealer installing a 2" lift and Gorilla front axles. I run the 30" Maxxis Mudzilla tires with 45 mm spacers. Arctic Cats may not be the fastest, but do we care? nope Ade, if you ever get to the States, I'd be happy to buy you a beer, even one of those Stellas.

I have one of the only diesel Arctic Cats west of the Mississippi in the USA. I have it in Montana. I have had lots of cold weather problems with it. Never a problem starting. Always starts right up even down to -20 degrees. My problem is that it "bucks" and drops RPM when accelerating. Purrs like a kitten when in idle. Purrs like a kitten when reving. But always bucks when in gear. I can get a little better result when keeping it in low range. It always does this in temps below about 40F. I use high quality anti-waxing additives. I keep the block heater plugged in. The dealer gave up on it as they have no manufacture training on the diesel and have no clue how to work on it. In warmer temps it works great. Love it then. But useless in the winter.

Really good review Ade, this ATV is my favorite out of all the ATV's. I love that torque it's so important on these type machines. .
