Machines | Apprenticeship is the lifeblood of heavy equipment operating engineers
videos | at work | information | view | construction
We know college isn't for everybody - and we're glad. We train skills appropriate to a career as a heavy equipment operator, including any you may need for a specific job, at our 400-acre training site, which is open to all current members at no cost. We've begun making arrangements to expand and offer training in North Dakota soon, too. Our apprentices are also constantly learning right on the job site, developing and refining their skills with one key difference from colleges and training companies - instead of paying, they're earning while they learn. And not just earning a paycheck, they're putting money into a pension fund and being covered by one of the best healthcare plans in the country. Give us call - all the contact information is on our training center website: http://www.local49training.org Do it now. It's time to stop putting off your career.

Question. I've run a bunch of rigs and have a ton of USA licenses. I'm a crane and heavy equipment operator since birth. I want to move to Australia. I love the smell of diesel in the morning. I'm 49 and ready for some change. I bring no baggage.
