My father had a 1951 Villiers-powered Allen Oxford like this in a great condition. One gear forvard, thats it. Sold in early 90`s and i try to find and buy it back before summer..

Yes this will cut through long grass, I used it yesterday to cut long grass, and it cuts it very well. Up in Switzerland they use them on steep hills and awkward spots where tractors can't go. Cheers Evan.
