One piece outer barrel. - Metal Spring Guide - Vertical Foregrip. - Adjustable Shooting Speed. * Full Metal Construction * Realistic Measurements * Special designed Gearbox, Pistol Grip retains same size as real steel * New Feeding System * EG1300 High Performance Motor REVIEW This AEG might be IDENTICAL to another M60 that retails for a lot more, but it is the best M60 you can get under $500 hands down. All the reviews will tell you so simply because A&K is the OEM manufacturer for all the other M60s on the market. Which means "better performance" at a "better price". It is reliable, realistic, nicely finished, accurate, powerful, easy to upgrade/repair and super affordable (considering the not as good models used to retail for $1000). This M60 is a replica of the heavy machine gun used by U.S. special force troops in real combat to supply heavy firing. It is equipped with a super capacity box magazine and is commonly used to secure an area or to provide serious heavy firing in Airsoft combats. The A&K M60 is full metal with built in bipod and redesigned 8mm gearbox and hop-up chamber. It is an out of the box ready to go heavy firing support machine gun! The TOP, CA and other M60 normally costs from $600 ~ $1000 without the box magazine, reliability and upgrade-ability!

@ Shane Rivers, SAW stands for Squad Automatic Weapon. and the M60 is indeed the Father of the M249. the M60 is a General Purpose Machine Gun, or GPMG, as i have heard the guys at Ft. Sill call it. the M240, and M249 are both Light Machine Guns, or LMG's, also knows as SAW's. meaning that they were designed to be carried by individual soldiers, whereas the M60 was designed to be both carried, mounted on vehicle (I.e. Humvees, Helicopters, ect.) and set up in a hardpoint (bunkers, towers, or other hardened structures). trust me, i get to listen to it every time my brother is home, lol

I have this gun... It's pretty good! Too heavy to play high-speed unless you're a Terminator. I got it on Evike, and it came with a steel duckbill flashhider that is painted to match the color of the barrel. That is a great feature. It isn't perfect(no gun is), but if you want an LMG and don't wanna break the bank, get this.

does the wind up mag drain out the battery is there anyway you could correct that? and in general how is the battery life on the gun?
