Episode 3 of the Tractor Factor, explores Big Lizzie, which is a 45 tonne machine that was once used to clear the Mallee Scrub around Red Cliffs. It had a turning circle of 60m and a top speed of around 3km per hour. It also explains the old Tractor Bounty act, which helped Australian tractor manufacturing and finally has a look at an early Bristol crawler tractors which were made from the 1930 till taken over by Track Marshall in the 1970s.
