Nearly one hundred vehicles from various periods of Australia Agricultural history Farmers Parade for the Year of the Agricultural machinery through the ages Agricultural Machinery from the various ages paraded on the city street for the year of the farmer celebrations recently. Loxton.com motored down the South Australian rural town of Loxton main street of east terrace on September 1st 2012. This unique procession drew huge numbers of spectators to observe this event as it seems to have been the only one of its type in South Australia and it seems likely in Australia as well a one of a kind event. The parade was opened by the premier of South Australia Mr Jay Weatheril and included agricultural and horticultural machinery of numerous types. It occupied the full length of East Terrace and formed a static display at the river end of the main street. This presentation is a collection of photographic images captured and taken at this event.
