The ACT Fire Brigade joined the Rural Fire Service and acquired 3 Hino trucks that Moore Engineering transformed into Heavy Tankers. 3,600 litres of water is delivered by a Darley HE500 pump coupled to a Hatz 4L41C motor. Two electric rewind hose reels and two crew deck hoses take care of the delivery points. Extra delivery points are located on each side. A tank flush point is located on the drivers side and the Hydrant fill point is located on the Passengers side. Undertray foam storage has increased the available locker space and a centre mounted duffle bag box in the rear of the cabin takes care of the personal equipment. Fire curtains are installed in the cabin as well as on the crew deck for operator safety.
