Good operator and works cheap. Just a juice box and a snickers bar to get the job done.

By the time I was 12 my grandfather had taught me how to run a Farmall tractor, an old Dozer, how to roll big Ponderosa pine logs on to a trailer and run a 56" blade sawmill belt powered by an old john deere tractor motor that you hand started on gas then switched to Diesel. I'm in my 50's now and still carry these skills, not to mention memories. This young boy is being given such an advantage over his peers by a very patient and encouraging father. The other thing is this boy will learn quickly the responsibility that he can hurt someone very badly operating this machine as he discovers it's power and that he's been given a lot of trust and responsibilities. That's a huge thing to discover at 6 yearsof age! Good job dad!

Great video, getting them started young! My father used to put me to sleep as an infant mowing fields with an our Ford 8n. There are VHS films of me driving it at 3 years old in low range by myself. I grew up with that tractor, best days of my life. Wouldn't change a damn thing.

my dad also taught me both pf those machines at 9

love this video brother

Cool but, I think I'd make him go "hands off" before I'd approach that excavator with a child in my hands. Loss a friend's father to an excavator who's operator swung the bucket and caved in his chest while standing too close.
