Machines | 4x4 Tractor Tearing / Tilling Up the Land. Roto-tilling mad easy
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Rotilling is easy with my 4x4 Yanmar sc2450. I have a BEFCO 3 point hitch tiller that is a reverse tine tiller. The roto-tiller is 4.5 feet wide and is easy to mount onto the 3pt hitch on the 24 hp 4x4 tractor. I must say that there is a proper tool for every job and this is definitely a good handy, and versatile tool rotor-tiller attachment. Hey Dan, nice video and nice country out there where you live could look at those views all day. Here in NC where I tilled my garden I had many of those sized stones and larger that are now landscaping had to figure out how to get rid of em LOL. I had to leave the back flap up on the tiller. Yea it shot a lot of dirt out the back but also the stones too rather than have them get sucked up into the top of the tiller and jam. Also that way they tended to lay on top of the soil so I could go back with the tractor and throw them in the bucket. Thanks for posting your video enjoyed watching.

Way to take your time, I dislike videos when people feel they need to go 100mph while tilling or mowing. nice tractor. I just bought a Massey GC1715

Need to lengthen your top link to get a better finish look. The hood is for leveling and won't do its intended job if the top link is short.

Must be good soil. My soil and the rocks would destroy the tiller, break the shear both, or break the chain. I usually need to plow, disc and rake first.

Nice looking setup. These sub compacts pack a surprising punch for a small package. I'd be lost without mine. About the only things it won't do is cook and do the laundry.

How do you like the Yanmar Tractor? I'd really like to get a compact utility tractor but jeez they're pretty expensive LOL. Really like the Kubota but those things along with the John Deere pretty pricey.

Looks like you have the tiller tilted forward to much. I broke my last tractor having to much of a tilt. I now make double sure it's level and locked in place with the center link. I did get a new tractor out of the deal. Would have cost me 5000.00 to repair the other one. Doing a good job though. Keep an eye on it, wouldn't want you to break such a great tractor. Levi~~
