NSWRTM steam locomotive 3642 "The Pig" running around and departing Sydney Central Station, bound for Wollongong on the RTM's Sea to Surf tour. 3642- 3642 was built at the Clyde Engineering Workshops in Sydney in 1926. She is the 42nd member of the proud and popular C36 Class locomotives designed by Edward Ernist Lucy for the Government Railways of NSW. The 36s were built to the Mogul 4-6-0 wheel arrangement with turret tenders and later with Belpaire boilers. 3642 is in the hands of the NSWRTM in Thirlmere, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW. She is located here with non operational sister locos, 3609 and the unique Giesel Oblong Ejector fitted 3616, the only locomotive in NSW ever to have one of these
