I would love to get Peterson and Sam Harris on a podcast together and see the clash of ideas. One guy who believes science can determine values and one who believes values are different kind of truths. I don't know if they would arrive at a consensus, but it would be a very interesting, and I think, useful, discussion.

Why am I here? I found you via the shitshorm. Thanks for saving the world for us while we sit on our asses.
Now to watch all of this series. ... -
You are so quick witted, Dr. Peterson. Ive been watching some of your videos for some time. I respect your mind quite a bit. You defiantly deserve your title as professor and I hope you keep your voice heard for a long time.
It would be cool to hear you and Sam Harris in an interview together. -
Josef stalin died in 53 couldnt announce the hydro-bomb in 57

I agree with the philosophy here but you keep getting dates and names wrong when talking about the Soviet Union :p

I wonder if Jordan Peterson has read a lot of Holocaust denial literature. I want to hear what he thinks of it.

What is unit 7-31 that he says his students can look up, but doesn't recommend?

I live in Tucson Arizona, and thus, was intrigued by Dr. Peterson's impressions of the places he visited while here. Having visited the Titan missle museum too, I was surprised to dicover that his reaction and thoughts were similar to my own. It is truely remarkable that with all of our shortcomings, fears, and paranoia we did not launch the nuclear weapons we had at our disposal during the cold war, and thereby bring an end to the human race. This realization makes President Elect Trump's call for increasing the size of our nuclear arsenal all the more terrifying, not to mention irresponsible. Demagogues never make for good and wise leaders.

the meandering. the tangents. They are endless. Is this a commonality in Universities? Is a professor's worth measured by the length of his/her tangent? Is this where the phrase "talking head" comes from? The silver-lining is however that my listening skills are being nicely trained as I am constantly tuning out during the tangents and back in whenever he says "anyways". There is interesting stuff peppered throughout this lecture but thank god I have my computer where I can play a puzzle game while listening to this. his students on the other hand....RIP to their attention span.

You really need to research the danger of global warming. It is a greater threat than you know.

Sit down. Sit down. Listen to me.
And this is the final lesson.
Always attack a man's strengths.
And i don't mean weaknesses.
No, I mean strengths.
No one ever expects you to attack the strongest part of the fort.
Up the middle. That's where the action is.
And it's the same in life.
Look, I know you got demons. But don't run away.
Attack them head on as they're coming to you full speed.
Because that, my friend...
...Is Living.
~ Sal Bandini.
