What do Mainers do when their giant pumpkin isn't ready for a giant pumpkin contest? Fill it with 20 pounds of tannerite and shoot it with a 300 Winchester Magnum. This 425 pound pumpkin exploded after 14 rounds, covering the Windsor, Maine gravel pit with shards of plastic and pumpkin seeds. Don't try this at home! a scoped .300 winchester magnum from about 75 yards and it took 4 or 5 shots. ...you guys need some basic marksman classes!!! STAT!!!!

Hahaha awesome. I did this with my Uncle and cousins recently, only we did one target per pumpkin. It was fun as hell. Video'd the whole thing.
