I think it's a 360
-
Probably 360 not too bad for a older truck though
-
Looks like a 360 there not bad
-
It's a 360 or 390 cause there know foe manifolds warping . good old trucks run forever
-

I think those are wasps... Cant wait to see it running and the vlogs in that truck! OHHH MAN!
-
Most likly a 460 or a 400 in those years came with a 390 400 or 460 most likly tho a 460 by how wide that mother of a motor looks
-
It's either a 360 , 351 , or 302

Man those old fords are cool. Even here in the land of no rust you don't see many. I second that from your old one at your dads will a lot of parts come over to this one? Interesting it's that kind of set up with the dual rear wheels.
-
It looks like a 360
-
Rosco was saying are you out of your mind. a ton of work way more if you just fix the one you drive now. and you would still get the good gas mileage. that old truck might get 8 miles to the gallon. if its runing top notch maybe 10 miles to the gallon.
-
hi its looks like the same engine I have in my truck, and my engine is a 360
-
I had a76 with a 360 that looked just like that.Same valve covers too.My current 77 has the old straight 6 in it.
-
I wonder if they powered the plow off from the hydraulics for the dump body.. That will be a beast for sure. great score.
-
That's a great project
-
the motor looks to be a 400 bb or a 460,yeah it'll take some work to get it up to drive safe

+ghettohillbilly1 If the "coke" trick is to remove rust with aluminium foil... the coke doesn't appear to serve any purpose in my experience. I've just used aluminium foil alone, or with a spot of NOX for lube.
