1942 Chevrolet g7117, I forgot to mention during the walkaround it has a 2-1/2 ton cab on it with the machinegun turret ring in the top of it, only the 6x6 2-1/2 ton cckw's came with that cab, that ring was never put on the 4x4 g7 series. alot of these trucks were used on the redbull supply run in europe or like this one building the alaskan/dawson creek highway going up to alaska, not many trucks survived those jobs/routes back then. its a blast to drive.

the g7107 and the g7117 both took the same hard cab as the cckw. on this one some one has put cckw side panels on this truck. The Chevy's had fewer slots. pretty common though as things were changed in the the field. used what ever fits. You see many trucks with many modifications after a few months in field due to war damage.
