Man, that's a beast. Should name him John Boy. Personally I'd wire a spring loaded safety cut off switch on the handle grip just in case it tipped over. That way nobody would get cut accidentally.

My grandfather had one and my father would start it and take off like yours did because could never remember were to put leavers to start brings back memories, that thing also came with a trailer you sat on and steered it put stuff in or couple people, awesome.

Old Gravelys were cool also...really well made heavy castings.Studebaker made them in 1960s I think. There is a cult following of these walk behind units.

I love these walk behind tractors, my best friend in high school's Dad had one. That sickle bar mower on the front of yours will cut small trees and bushes up to about one inch thick ! We used to work a 1/2 acre garden with his, had about 6 attachments for it.

That was funny! Thanks for the laugh. Great vid and nice DB. Those clutches are really sensitive to dirt and debris. How far did you have to chase her before you caught her? Looks like it's been awhile...do you still have the tractor? Readily accessible kill switches come in real handy with those. I found one last year, and finally found a replacement wheel for it. Hope to get it running soon.
